This litter was born all day Saturday, March 28th, 2010. This was the first whippet cross for us. The litter theme was extreme athletes. The dam is the very powerful, beautifully built, Vixen. The sire of this litter is the very proven stud dog and race track champion Trumpet, owned and loved by Louise Hoelscher of Poeta Whippets. This was our very first attempt at this type of litter and it was nothing short of awesome! This litter produced very well built, high drive pups that LOVE to run FAST and work all the time! Vixen is 19 1/2 inches tall and Trumpet is 20 7/8 inches tall.
There were five males and five females in this litter and they include: Gothik, Shock, Trend, Zebra, Custom, Detail, Action, Solider, Bravo and Bolt. All the puppies were BAER Normal and CERF Normal. All puppies from this breeding will be spayed or neutered and have their hips done per my contract. All puppies from this litter have gone to their forever homes at 8 weeks of age!
