Brick x The Flash 2011
This litter was born early Sunday, November 13th, 2011 from 1:30 A.M. to 7 A.M. The litter theme was characters from Aladdin. This sire of this litter is the well accomplished agility dog The Flash owned and loved by Frank Yang. The dam is Brick co-owned by myself and Mary Kline. Brick was a very good complement to The Flash. This litter, as expected produced well balanced, nicely structured, high drive pups that went only to performance homes. This is a repeat breeding from 2009, and the puppies from that litter are all starting to turn heads on the agility course and they passed all their health testing with flying colors.
Brick is 19 7/8 inches tall and The Flash is 20 1/2 inches tall.
This litter is AKC and ABCA registered. One puppy in the 2009 breeding has epilepsy (Singe). Due to this development all puppies from The Flash will be spayed or neutered. Unfortunately, other dogs in The Flash's lines have or are producing epileptic dogs and we feel for us at On Target that it is in the best interest to stop breeding this line. We look forward to the day that the genetic marker is discovered so responsible breeding won't result in more epileptic puppies being produced. This litter also produced one puppy with health problems (Ride) who has Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
In this litter there were 4 males: Sultan, Ride, Ledger, and Ladd; and 3 females: Fern, Echo and Rosie.
All the puppies were BAER and CERF tested Normal. These puppies are all CEA Normal by parentage. All the puppies will be spayed or neutered unless co-owned and they will have their hips evaluated through OFA or PennHIP per contractual agreement.
All the puppies from this litter went to their forever homes at 8 weeks of age!
